Larry and Studio: documents and reports

Last updated on

Larry works on Studio documents — proposals, NDAs, contracts, uploaded documents and reports — the same records you see in Studio, so what Larry changes is exactly what you send.

  • Find and read: "open the Acme NDA", "what does section 3 of this contract say?" On a Studio document page, "this document" means the one you're looking at.
  • Turn an attached file into a Studio document: attach a PDF or Word file and say "make this an editable document for Acme". Larry converts it into a draft in your house style (the original layout isn't kept — for a small change that must keep the PDF's own look, ask Larry to change the PDF instead, see above).
  • Rewrite a section ("make the scope shorter and more formal"), replace a name everywhere ("Acme Corp → Acme Ltd"), sign for your company (or record that the customer signed elsewhere). Each is previewed first and saved only after you confirm; a rewrite saves exactly the text you saw.
  • Build a report: "make a portfolio report on renewals and risk for the board" or "a QBR for Acme". Larry creates a Studio Report with a summary, insights and charts from your data, and can add a chart to a section later.

Converting and building only create drafts; nothing is sent from here.
