Proposals, NDAs and Contracts: designs and reference files
Last updated on
On a proposal, NDA or contract, step 3 Preview shows the Document or the PDF (the PDF opens right inside Clynto).
Design picks the look: Classic, Modern, Executive, Minimal, Banded or Heritage — or As your reference when the document has one. Regenerate in a new design gives the document a different design every time you click; the wording stays the same (use Regenerate all on the Content step for new wording).
Match a reference file takes a PDF or Word file you already use: the document follows its page size, orientation (portrait or landscape) and, from Word, its margins, heading colour, font and heading alignment, without Clynto's cover page.
Templates are copied, references are followed. Each type has its own page (Studio → Proposals, NDA, Contracts) with + New (Blank, From a template, With a reference file), quick-start cards, tabs (All, Drafts, Ready, Sent, Awaiting signature, Signed, Discarded, Templates, References), search and filters, and row actions (Preview, Duplicate for any account, Send, Save as template, Discard). Save as template keeps a finished document's wording; Use template asks you to confirm every deal value for the new account first. A reference (an uploaded previous proposal or contract) only gives Clynto its structure, tone and layout — the text is written fresh for this account, never copied, and any value read from it must be confirmed.
Note
Once a document has a signature, its design is locked.
