The journey stage is set for you
Last updated on
The journey stage shown on the account and in the Accounts list is the Lifecycle track's state — Onboarding, Adoption or Steady State — plus Churned, which overrides everything when the account has churned.
You don't accept or dismiss stage changes. Each recompute (see "When scores update") reads the Lifecycle track and applies the stage straight to the account. You can still set a stage by hand when you disagree; if the data still says otherwise, the next pass moves it again.
Every change is recorded
Each move is written to the account's History tab (Journey entries), stamped with who or what made it, and audit-logged — automatic ones as made by the system. The assigned CSM gets a notification.
Note
The engine only moves an account it can justify from data it already has. An account with no stage at all is left alone rather than guessed at; set a stage once and automation takes it from there.
