ClyntoKnowledge

Your first 15 minutes

Most of Clynto runs on its own once it has your accounts and at least one data source. These five steps are all a new workspace needs.

When you first create a workspace, a Connect your data sources popup opens over the main screen. Connect a tool or import a CSV there and press Done, or choose I'll do it later (it shows to the Owner of an empty workspace, and returns on reload or sign-in until you connect something or choose that). The same steps are below.

  1. Bring in your accounts. Settings → Integrations → Import a file (or Import CSV in Today's Focus quick actions), then choose Account data. A file with columns such as name, domain, ARR, CSM email and renewal date is enough. Extra columns are kept as custom fields, so nothing in your spreadsheet is lost.
  2. Check your profiles. Settings → Account rules → Health rules → Profiles. Every account is run by the profile whose ARR range covers it, and each profile has its own health weights and Healthy / Watch / At Risk cutoffs. The defaults suit most teams; adjust the ARR ranges to fit your book.
  3. Invite your team. Settings → Workspace → Team & access → Members. A CSM sees only the accounts assigned to them; managers and admins see everything.
  4. Connect your tools. Settings → Integrations. Freshdesk for tickets, HubSpot for CRM data, Stripe for invoices and subscriptions, Mixpanel or the Usage API for product usage, Slack for alerts. Each person also connects their own mailbox and calendar under Settings → Email configuration → My mailbox.
  5. Say hello to Larry. Open the Larry tab on the right edge of any page and ask "which High-Touch Enterprise accounts are at risk?" Larry reads your live workspace and cites the tools it used.

Tip

After that first hour your day is mostly reacting: signals that need a look, approvals agents are waiting on, and the questions Larry Time asks when it finds data missing. The rest of this book explains each piece in depth.
